Aftercare tips for nails
For people whose nails are thin or brittle, it is advisable to use a good hand moisturizer regularly and apply cuticle oil at least twice every day for a week before going to the salon. These protect your nails and the skin around them from dehydration.
* Moisturize regularly: Apply cuticle oil daily to keep your cuticles hydrated and prevent dryness and cracking.
* Wear gloves for protection: When doing chores like washing dishes or cleaning, wear gloves to shield your nails from harsh chemicals and potential damage.
* Gentle cleaning: Clean your nails gently with soap and water, avoiding harsh chemicals.
* Avoid cuticle manipulation: Do not push or cut your cuticles as this can irritate the skin and potentially lead to infection.
* Balanced diet and hydration: Maintain a healthy diet with plenty of nutrients to support strong nails.
* Professional touch-ups: Schedule follow-up appointments with a skilled nail technician for maintenance and to ensure your nails remain healthy.
